Firstly welcome
to the Tenby Dolphins web site. We hope you like what
you see and find it a useful resource. Please let
us have some feedback so that we can continue to deliver
what the members need.
News:
Our annual club Christmas party was
held at Tenby Ex Serviceman’s Club on Sunday
18th December, and as usual a great time was had by
all, this time spiced up by some excellent fancy dress
costumes sported by swimmers and parents alike.
Each year we make several presentations during the
party and after much deliberation, the coaches awarded
the following swimmers with awards recognising their
achievements over the year.
Most improved boy: George Greenwood;
Most improved girl: Lillie Murray-Coller; Most improved
overall: Katie Hicks. Finally the Coaches Choice award
this year went to Billy Greenwood. Well done all of
you. Well-deserved indeed.
Quite a few of our swimmers have made
it through to represent their individual schools in
the annual URDD National Swimming Championships which
take place in Cardiff on 29-30th January 2012. Good
luck to all who are taking part.
Tenby Dolphins are very keen to keep
expanding our fantastic group of competitive swimmers,
so we are currently looking for more youngsters to
join in the fun at the club. Our swimmers have a great
time at loads of different competitions, and over
the years we have had success at all levels. If you
have the basic swimming skills to swim a length or
two and are interested in becoming part of vibrant
and fun club, please come and have a look at what
we do at one of our training sessions at Tenby Leisure
Centre or get in touch with us to arrange a trial.

younger swimmers to have a go at a long course swim.

4/5 & 11/12 Feb West Wales Regional
Championships, Haverfordwest.
Dragon Mark Award
Tenby and District Swimming Club has
been awarded the Dragon Mark accreditation by Swim
Wales.
