Firstly welcome to the new Tenby Dolphins
web site. We hope you like what you see and find it
a useful resource. Please let us have some feedback
so that we can continue to deliver what the members
need.
News:
Regular readers will have realised
that the club has been frantically busy with galas
and opens over the past few weeks, so a very big thanks
to the mums and dads who have taken the swimmers to
so many events recently. Also, many thanks to our
new officials and helpers who have joined the club
workforce. The old adage “many hands make light
work” is so true in this sport, so please keep
it up and try to encourage others to follow suit.
One of the very encouraging facts that has come to
light over the past few weeks is the level of success
our swimmers are enjoying in some of the more demanding
events. We have had some very good results in all
the recent galas in 100m, 200m and 400m IM races.
This is very encouraging because mastery of these
yardstick events shows that the swimmers are not only
improving their general technique but also their fitness
levels. It is satisfying for the coaches to see that
the swimmers are applying themselves well to training
and that the hard work is really starting to make
a difference. Keep it up everyone!
